My friend, Michael McGuire in Australia, just let me know that “The Crocodile Hunter” himself, Mr. Steve Irwin died today.
I won’t rehash the coverage as you can read about it as well as I can. But now I really regret that we weren’t able to get to the “Australia Zoo” when we visited that wonderful country back in 1999.

It’s still hard to believe that Steve Irwin has died. He always seemed so invinceable. Our newspapers are full of pictures and it’s all too sad to really look at.
We were horrified to hear the news. He will truly be missed.
